Service Design Thinking

A while ago I bought this very interesting book called: This is service design thinking.

(Service) Design Thinking has been a hot topic for the past years. Luckily!

So what is it? “Service Design helps to innovate (create new) or improve (existing) services to make them more useful, usable, desirable for customers and efficient as well as effective for organisations. It’s a new holistic, multi-disciplinary, integrative field.”

I believe this approach is very necessary as most companies think ‘top-down’ instead of ‘user-centered’.

At the end of March I will follow a ‘hands -on’ Design Thinking training in Amsterdam. So I get some experience using the tools.
